Fruit buffet. My drink of pineapple and nutmeg was very refrshing and delicious

At Balik Pulau fruit farm

Not everybody is so keen on food

Always fun to share food with a good friend

Penang's version of Hokkien Char with the thin noodle

'Oh Chean' at Swah Tow lane

Breakfast of 'Mee Yoke' with the Angs

The double happiness dinner with the Wongs.

The assam laksa near the Kek Lok Si Temple

We arrived there in time for lunch and guess what? We went straight for the Char Keow Teow.

The Penang Bridge drive is actually quite picturesque except that the authorities seemed to be erecting these dividers to stop people from enjoying the view. It could be that they are doing this to reduce the number of accidents which are quite high on the bridge but it's such a lousy way of doing things.

The new Camry as a pleasure to drive.

We stopped at the Sg Buloh overhead bridge for some nasi lemak breakfast

Our family did an overnight trip to Penang in the new Camry just before CNY. Our purpose was to visit Kong Meng's family- KM celebrated his 50th birthday and Mrs. Wong , her 80th so we thought that we will hold a 'double happiness' dinner for them since Mr. Wong is too weak to travel down. We had the pleasure of meeting up with the Angs in the morning and had some fun driving to the different back lanes for hawker food although many of them were already closed for New Year. The photos must be viewed from bottom to top.
